The person behind The Shared Note

Hello, I’m Victoria.
And I believe we all belong.

Victoria Jane Leith

A creative mind.
A people-first approach.

I’m Victoria Jane Leith, a qualified teacher, author, singer-songwriter and educational consultant. For over 30 years, I’ve worked in schools and communities, helping people find connection through creativity.

As a former Head of Performing Arts and DEI lead, I have taught thousands of students in Japan, China, Czechia, the USA, eSwatini and the UK. Those experiences continue to shape my work with educators around the world.

I’m a divergent thinker. I work with you and your team to generate ideas, systems and practical solutions—looking beyond the obvious and listening for the backstory.

My work centres on psychological safety, belonging, inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding. I’ve led sessions at ResearchED, EARCOS, the Japanese Council of International Schools (JCIS) and NAME.
